The procedure might not be suitable for you if you:

• are on blood thinners

• sepsis 

• low platelet count 

• hypofibrinogenemia 

• hemodynamic instability 

• thyroid disease 

• systemic disorder 

• chronic liver disease

Depending on the reason for hair loss, we sometimes suggest PRP in combination with other hair loss procedures or medications. Since PRP therapy uses plasma from your blood, there is no risk in this treatment. 

So it all starts with collecting a blood sample that is later sent to the centrifuge machine that separates the different components of the blood, including the platelet-rich plasma. 

This plasma is rich in growth factor mediums and proteins that induce hair follicles to start growing hair. It is also rich in repairing components, known to heal the damage to hair follicles before you even know it.
